Attachment Method Guide

Sew-on attachment (through pre-punched holes) is the most common method for flat metal labels on denim waistbands and garment hems — it is secure, permanent, and does not require additional hardware. Rivet attachment is used when the label needs to be attached to thick fabric (denim, canvas, leather) where sewing through the label holes is not practical — the rivet passes through the fabric and the label simultaneously. Screw-back attachment is used for premium bags and leather goods where the label is mounted on the exterior surface and the screw post is concealed on the interior. Adhesive attachment is used for temporary or display applications only — it is not recommended for garments that will be washed.
