Surface Finish Guide

Gold electroplating is the standard for premium fashion and luxury denim brands — it communicates warmth and heritage. Antique brass creates a vintage, worn aesthetic suited to heritage denim and workwear brands. Gunmetal and matte black are the standard for contemporary streetwear and technical garment brands. Silver and nickel finishes are common in workwear and uniform applications. Note that standard nickel electroplating may not comply with EU EN 1811 nickel release limits for skin-contact applications — if your garments are sold in the EU, specify nickel-free finishing when ordering.
